girl with smoky eyes make up

Seductive smouldering smoky eyes look great but in the past this look was thought to be difficult if not impossible to achieve unless you spent a lot time or were a skilled make-up artist.

I would like to show how to create stunning Smoky Eyes effortlessly using techniques and products that deliver professional results.
You will get a Crystal Taupe Eye Shine, a Powder Pencil, Gel Liner & Gel Liner Brush.
Before you start make sure that your brows are shaped.
Eye brows frame the eyes. If they are not as nicely shaped as they could be then your stunning eyes will not look as great as they could.
- First apply Crystal Taupe to the lids as an eye base to keep the shadow on longer and to prevent creasing.
- Leave the brow area bare for now.
- Using one of the Powder Eye Pencil as an eye shadow. Choose Ebony if you want strong eyes, Brown Suede or Purple Violet for a softer effect.
- Simply dot the pencil on the whole following the eye’s natural shape from the base of the lashes up to the crease. Now blend the dots either with your finger or an eye shadow brush. The KEY to this look is extending and blending the shadow slightly beyond the crease. You can build the colour to what ever depth you would like.
- Next, use the same pencil to line all the way along the upper and lower lashes to encircle the eye [if you have small eyes only apply halfway along].
- Add extra depth using one of the Gel Liners. Choose the shade the co-ordinates with your choice of pencil. Using the angled liner brush, run the liner along the base of your top lashes and half way along the base of your lower lashes. Smudge with your finger, eye shadow brush or cotton bud to defuse.
- Optional - To make your eyes pop, dot Secret Highlighter or Top Secret Highlighter under the arch of your brows.
- Finally use your gel liner to line inside the eyes. If you have small eyes, you can still make this look work by using a white eye pencil inside your eyes instead to open them up.
- Finish with lashings of mascara top and bottom.

NB: If your shadow shape isn't as defined as you’d like it to be, tidy it up by simply dipping a cotton bud into a little foundation or concealer and go around the outer edges to achieve a perfect shape.
